Civil Litigation

Litigation in any court, state or federal, requires knowledge of the rules and procedures. It requires hard work and an ability to persuade the finder of fact that your position is the right one. In federal court, your lawyer must be a member of the trial bar. In state court, most lawyers qualify to try cases. In January 2011, the Illinois Rules Of Evidence became effective. Based largely on the Federal Rules Of Evidence, the Illinois Rules govern evidence in state court cases. Having trial experience under the Federal Rules provides years of experience and understanding the interpretation of those rules. If your case cannot be settled before trial, you need a litigator. At Taylor Law, P.C., we do litigation right!
